Treatment
We utilize a number of techniques in our office. The reason we utilize an assortment of techniques is simply because we feel that not everyone is suited to just one particular type of adjustment. For example, we usually would not treat a young adult athlete with the same methods we would use for an elderly osteoperotic person. That simply would not make any sense. We believe you should gear your technique to the person. Therefore, we use both conventional and non-force techniques to treat our patients.
Our Services
Diagnostic Equipment
Our facility is equipped with an in house X-ray unit and processor. This allows us a quick turn around time as far as review of the X-rays and less trouble for the patient since they do not have to travel to a radiological facility to obtain their X-rays. We have the X-ray results prepared for the patient by the next day.
Therapeutic Equipment
We have recently acquired a new combination Ultrasound (therapeutic not diagnostic) muscle stimulation unit, the Metler Sonicator plus 930. This unit is capable of performing ultrasound, muscle stimulation, interferential waveform, premodulated waveform, and Russian waveform separately or in combination. We also have an autotherm, which is a heat modality.
Rehabilitative Equipment
Our office is equipped with rehabilitative weight lifting machines. Our cervical or “neck” machine is of particular note since it is an eight-position machine. This allows the patient to strengthen their neck musculature basically all around their necks as opposed to just four ways. Our low back/abdominal machine is excellent for strengthening the low back (erector spinae muscles) and abdominal musculature.
